Our friends at The Production Portal, a Film + TV website and social community, founded by Chantelle Mercieca (Ex Unscripted TV), have some exciting news to share with the Beyond Reality community.

The Production Portal are teaming up with various independent industry initiatives and holistic specialists and running our VERY OWN online industry and wellness workshops commencing mid-April 2023.   

To kick start the fun, we’re announcing THREE of our upcoming workshops exclusively to Beyond Reality AU, details are below: 

Workshop 1: TPP & Coordimate Production Services Present, Step into Production Assisting and Production Coordinating  

Date: Saturday 22nd April 2023

Time: 10am – 4.45pm (includes a 45min lunch break) 

Cost: $165 AUD per person (inc. GST)

Description: Want to step into a Production Assistant or Production Co-ordinating role? But need the tools to get you there? 

Get ready for 6hours of fun filled learning like no other from Industry Leaders in Production. 

Trainers: Laura Young (Director, Coordimate Production Services) & Chantelle Mercieca (Founder, The Production Portal) 

Trainer Bios: 

Laura Young Bio: Fresh out of High School, Laura started her TV journey as a Production Assistant on children’s TV series Saturday Disney.  18 years, and thousands of callsheets later, Laura decided to develop Coordimate Production Services to help guide, train, and nurture those wanting to get into production.

Chantelle Mercieca Bio: With 18 years’ experience in Media and 11 years’ experience climbing the Production ladder in Reality TV, Chantelle has Production Managed and Line Produced well known franchises within the industry including The Bachelor Australia, and The Masked Singer to name a few. Now more than ever Chantelle has felt inspired to share her knowledge with new starters who want to pave their own career path in an industry that ignited her.

Yana Groves Bio: 

Bloomtime Media is the vision of Company Director, Yana Groves, a powerhouse producer with 30 years experience in media. She has worked internationally on iconic shows like Masterchef, Big Brother and The Celebrity Apprentice. With a BBC background in news journalism, she has worked extensively on lifestyle, features, documentary and reality shows. Bloomtime Media is her endeavour to share what she loves: making impactful content and bringing great stories to life. 

Workshop 3: “Finding You”

Date: Thursday 11th May 2023

Time: 7-8.30pm

Cost: $33 AUD per person (inc. GST)

Description: 

This workshop will enable you to lean into you, to help you begin to discover your courage, and find your inner voice. 

Prior to the workshop Anne, Kinesiologist / Intuitive Healer, will use her NEW inner voice technology to analyse your voice frequencies, and will provide each guest with a report (during the workshop) which will display three notes or octaves that are excessively out of balance (or over compensated) as well as the main octave that is being suppressed. Guests will walk away from the workshop with meditation music to assist them in re-balancing their frequencies. 

The workshop will also include:

  • Journaling
  • Group Discussion / Group Work 
  • Meditation
